Almost 6 years ago, a handful of people invested in a dream to start a church called Hope Unlimited Church Santa Fe. Since then, we have impacted thousands of lives through our outreach efforts in Heart of Hope, student ministries have been launched, small groups, and more than a thousand people have come to know Christ. Every one of us has benefited from their investment, and now it’s our turn to invest in the next generation.

This is what our Legacy Offering is all about. It’s a special, once-a-year offering we give over and above our tithes and offerings to make a difference in people’s lives here in New Mexico and around the world. It’s a great opportunity for us to give what God puts on our hearts in order to accelerate the vision of our church and reach more people with the Good News of Jesus.

We call it “Legacy” because we believe that when we come together to combine our resources and do for others what they can’t do for themselves, we leave a legacy that makes a difference for all eternity. And as we’ve seen over the years, when all of us do a little, together we do a lot. 

Let us share just a few ways that we intend to support our community and bless others through this year’s Legacy gift: 

Purchase of Building. We will be owners of the property at 6600 Cerrillos and will put us in a stronger financial position as owners and not renters as we continue to keep our eyes on the ultimate goal of developing our 25 acres as described below. This is the next step in our journey as we continue to move towards our land development. We are believing that by October 31^st, we will have the down payment, of $308,902.50 to purchase this building. We understand God is a creative God and has given us the ability to create ways to reach our community with the Gospel. This property will serve the needs of our community, through either launching our Hope Unlimited Academy or opening our One Goal Sports Facility.  

Our Land. We will continue to focus on funding our land. This will help us accelerate our vision which consists of building our new Church Home. We are currently in the process of planning our school, Hope Unlimited Academy, which will be K-12^th grades. Within our new structure, we also plan to create community space for families to come all week long. We truly believe one day we will look back and say the greatest investment we ever made was to equip a generation of people to go and change the world for Christ. To teach people that God loves them and that they can do anything, be anything, and overcome anything.

Outreach. 10% of all giving goes towards outreach.

Local – Heart of Hope is our local outreach. We believe this is our city, our responsibility. As a church we are called to go out and be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community. As we go beyond our 4 walls to touch lives, we have one mission in mind and that is to love with no strings attached.

National – ARC exists to see a thriving church in every community, reaching people with the message of Jesus. Our mission is to help new and existing churches thrive by providing leaders with relationship, resource, and opportunity.

Global – Hope Global is a faith-based nonprofit founded by Mark and Darlene Zschech bringing HOPE to people through education in countries that have been devastated by genocide, war and poverty.
