HopeUC is a church for everyone; a place where everyday people from all walks of life come together to discover what life with Jesus is all about. We gather together to worship, pray, learn from the Word of God, give, and serve with open hearts and open hands.<\/p>\n

HopeUC has many churches across the world that are part of the wider HopeUC Global family. In New South Wales, Australia, we have campuses in Maitland, Port Stephens, Newcastle, Charmhaven, Gosford, and Peninsula. HopeUC India has campuses in Hyderabad and Secunderabad, and in the USA, you\u2019ll find HopeUC campuses in Los Angeles, Santa Fe, and Nashville.<\/p>\n

If you are looking for a new church family, have never been to church before, or are just curious about God, you are always welcome to come and check out any of our services.<\/p>\n

HopeUC is a member of the Australian Christian Churches (ACC)<\/a>, a movement of Pentecostal churches in voluntary cooperation. Each individual church is self-governing but commits itself to working together with other churches in the movement for mutual support and the spread of the gospel in Australia and the world. The ACC currently consists of over 1,100 churches and 3,300 pastors, with over 384,000 constituents. Pentecostal churches are now Australia’s second-largest denominational grouping of church attendees after the Catholic Church.<\/p>\n

At HopeUC, we believe the Bible gives us a clear call to reach others with the love of Christ.<\/p>\n

By God\u2019s grace, we pray that HopeUC will always be a body, a church, a family, and a home defined by God\u2019s presence. Worshipful, missional, prayerful, generational, creative, generous, thankful, authentic, and completely passionate about people responding to the message of salvation. We pray that we will always reflect through every part of our lives, that HOPE is a person, and His name is Jesus.<\/p>\n

HopeUC is a church where everyone\u2019s welcome. There is a place for you here. When we come together, we are a diverse, beautiful expression of God\u2019s church, gathering around His love, His presence, His word, and His purpose for our lives. Together, we are on a great faith adventure.<\/p>\n

OUR VISION<\/strong><\/h2>\n

At HopeUC, we aspire to be a lighthouse of hope for our community. Our Vision statement embodies the heart of hope: ‘Follow Jesus, and your tomorrow will be greater than today<\/strong>.’ We believe that when we commit our lives to following Jesus Christ, we unlock the door to a future filled with hope and purpose. Together, we are on the great faith adventure, journeying toward a greater tomorrow as we follow Jesus.[\/vc_column_text]

WHAT WE BELIEVE <\/b><\/h2>\n

WE BELIEVE<\/b> that the Bible is God\u2019s Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives.<\/span><\/p>\n

WE BELIEVE<\/b> in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.<\/span><\/p>\n

WE BELIEVE<\/b> that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives.<\/span><\/p>\n

WE BELIEVE<\/b> that the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.<\/span><\/p>\n

WE BELIEVE<\/b> that in order to receive forgiveness and the \u2018new birth\u2019 we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives.<\/span><\/p>\n

WE BELIEVE<\/b> that in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptised in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit.<\/span> The Holy Spirit enables us to use spiritual gifts, including speaking in tongues, which is an initial evidence of baptism in the Holy Spirit.<\/span><\/p>\n

WE BELIEVE<\/b> that God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives which is to worship God, to fulfil our role in the Church and to serve the community in which we live.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

WE BELIEVE<\/b> that God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and prosperous lives in order to help others more effectively. We believe that our eternal destination of either Heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.<\/span><\/p>\n

WE BELIEVE<\/b> that human<\/span> beings are created male or female in the image of God (Genesis 1:26-27) with a need for companionship and intimacy, reflecting the relational nature of God. Australian Christian Churches (ACC) defines marriage as being the union between a man and a woman to the exclusion of all others voluntarily entered into for life. This need for companionship (Genesis 2:18) can be satisfied in the loving relationship of marriage (Genesis 2:18-25) or through a life devoted to the Lord through singleness.<\/span><\/p>\n
