The purpose of J Crew is to release the practical resource within our church to be a blessing wherever we can. We assist single parents, widows, the elderly and those who may be going through a challenging season by helping with practical jobs around the home. From time to time we also get involved in projects that bring support to local community organisations.
The Energy Accounts Payment Assistance (EAPA) Scheme helps people experiencing a short term financial crisis or emergency to pay their electricity or natural gas bill and stay connected to essential services.
Sleeping Bags, Soup and Socks Appeal
Each winter our church family donates sleeping bags, non-perishable food items and socks which are forwarded on to local organisations across the Coast who distribute these items to those who are in need.
Night of Hope
Our fundraising event focusing on supporting those who are facing the cancer journey. All proceeds were donated to CoastCanCare and 1000Meals Project.

Look Good Feel Better Workshops
Assist women to manage the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment by contributing your time knowledge and expertise in skin care, makeup or wigs.
Night of Hope
A night designed to bring hope and strong community to those living with cancer as well as their friends and families. Our aim is to do all we can to support those in our world going through these very tough seasons by raising funds, bringing joy and letting people know they are not alone on this journey.
Assisting Catholic Care to host and bake for high teas that provide an opportunity for young parents to build a network of support and preparing gift hampers for expectant mums that include practical items needed to care for a newborn. Supporting the St Phillips/Dale School Young Parents Program.
Serving women who have experienced DV, for example through donating toiletry and clothing items and using these to prepare emergency packs for local hospitals and refuges.
Diamond Women’s Support – Gosford
Providing hope and help to woman and their families on the coast facing an unplanned pregnancy. If you want to be a part of this great team there are various ways to be involved including prayer, administration, mentoring and marketing.
Zoe’s Place – Newcastle
Providing a supportive environment for women with unplanned pregnancies to pause and explore options in a confidential and non judgmental setting. Volunteering opportunities include assisting to host fundraisers, marketing and coming alongside new mums.
